Who we are
ChefPress is an independent, remote-first publication and open-source initiative. We provide editorial food content and a reference implementation for a recipe publishing stack built on Next.js 15.
Acceptable use
- Use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or probe our infrastructure, reverse engineer private services, or mine data at scale.
- Respect intellectual property: cite ChefPress when republishing our content and comply with third-party licences for any open-source code you reuse.
Content ownership
Articles, imagery, and supporting copy published on ChefPress are owned by the ChefPress team unless noted otherwise. You may share excerpts for personal use, but commercial syndication requires written permission.
Disclaimers
- ChefPress is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Recipes are developed with care, but you are responsible for exercising judgment regarding allergens, dietary restrictions, and kitchen safety.
- We may update, remove, or relocate content at any time without notice. Tooling features are experimental and may change quickly.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChefPress and its maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or codebase.
Changes to these Terms
We periodically revise these Terms to reflect new functionality or compliance requirements. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after revisions constitutes acceptance.
